I’m always excited to hear from teams who can make use of my skills and experience.

As a professional educator and scholar, I’m passionate about connecting my own work with the world my students know and shape. As a classroom instructor, I place students at the center of everything we do; online, I use my understanding of technology and pedagogy to shape experiences that give students valuable experience as well as knowledge and skill.

My work as a scholar focuses on perceptions of material culture in the literature of the early medieval English, as well as rendering that world as accurately as possible to our own modern sensibilities. My dissertation made significant discoveries in the way references to objects were used in religious narrative poetry from the Exeter Book. I have also conducted additional work in the digital humanities, including projects to bring objects from early medieval England into the classroom as 3D scanned digital constructs and 3D printed models.
